after HIS heart

Today my church (Metro Life Church) ran/walked the
5k START! HEART WALK with the American Heart Association.
It felt really great to complete something I had been (semi) training for
for the last 5 weeks. I loved the adrenaline rush and the comradeship that filled the morning.
A special "HOORAY" to my mom who kicked my running butt with a time of 25mins...
what an example!!

today, after rising at 8am, we apartment shopped, made our registry at crate&barrel and walked around town in the beautiful 68 degree weather. to end the day we settled down at max's oyster bar for the best happy hour ever.

on may 9th, 2010 we celebrated our engagement. albert decided we should be a permanent couple... of course i said yes! and so the journey to the isle begins...
